Are You 3DS Fresh?

Well people, its been a long time coming but we have finally finished building our new site and we are sure you are going to like it. We locked Stef in a room with his laptop for the past few weeks with only a couple of packs of pickled onion Monster Munch and a carton of UmBungo to keep him going until he got it finished!

There are previews of new music on there, videos of some recent performances, links to some of the new singers we are working with and our Twitters so you can keep track of us when we go out boozing. We have also put an arcade on there that will be updated every week and the amazing 3DS Fresh section which will be updated with digital mixtapes, exclusive artwork, things that we think are a amusing and the exclusive animated series "The Many Adventures of Harry & Barry".

The best bit is the dancing red bear that plays the music. His name is Rasputin.

Hold tight for live shows in the new year!

Safe.

January 22

Gig this Sunday 28th Jan at The Notting Hill Arts Club!!!!!

Raahtid Bumbaclatid!! Yes, yes yes people! Your friendly neighbourhood 3DS are back after a well deserved break to continue our quest to be the best motherfunking band on the planet!!!!!!!!

As you all know, we mashed it up last year. Highlights included shows at the Hard Rock Cafe and Regents Park, the beginning of our residency at the Notting Hill Arts Club and Fat Girls Fighting getting onto the coveted Zane Lowe playlist at Radio 1! All of this led us to eventually supporting Boy Kill Boy at the Barfly and winning the Windows Live best new band competition and £10,000. This was followed by fairly accurate press coverage in the Daily Star and the Evening Standard (although they did call us Third Down Sector in the first edition!!)

Our first show of the year will be at the Notting Hill Arts Club on Sunday 28th January. We will be on stage at 7pm and its £4 on the door. Hopefully the lame, lame, lame Celebrity Big Brother will be off air by then so there will be no excuse! There will be a small tribute to the late great James Brown in the set which will be PHAT if we pull it off. There is Funk After Death!!

Hold tight people. This year is going to be LARGE!

Badass Motherfunkers

O H  M Y  G O S H  P E O P L E!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have been saying it for a while, but now one of the biggest companies in the world agrees with us. We are officially badass motherfunkers!!! On Thursday 2nd night at the Barfly in Camden we put in one of the best performances of our careers and were rewarded with a giant cheque from Microsoft for £10,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sorry for the delay in getting this blog up but we have been on a bit of a bender since then which has just been reported in the Daily Star this weekend!

A big big thanks to everyone who came down to support us. You were a great crowd and you will all be receiving your limited edition Fat Girls Fighting mouse mats shortly. These can be purchased at our online merchandise store.

We start sorting things out for the Fat Girls Fighting video this week so any ideas from you guys would be more than welcome!

We are back at the Notting Hill Arts Club on Sunday 26th November. There are only two months left at this great venue so try and catch us their while you can!

A Touch of Funking Genius

Yes, yes, yes people! The 3DS buzz is getting louder and louder!!  A big shout out to everyone who turned up to the Notting Hill Arts Club Last Sunday to see us mash the place up! It was PHAT!!  We have now been asked to play there every month until the New Year at Jay Hannan’s world famous Underdog club night. The Arts Club is a great venue and was responsible for breaking the Libertines and Lilly Allen to name a few. It is also home to the Death Disco night hosted by the legendary Alan McGee who discovered Oasis!  It is an honor to have their support so hopefully our next few shows there will be rockin!

We have two confirmed shows for October. These are:

Cafe De Paris

9pm Friday 27th October

The Notting Hill Arts Club

7pm Sunday 29th October

More good news is that we have just made the shortlist of the top 10 alternative artists with the most downloads on the Live Sessions Space.  We are now through to the next round of the competition!! Thanks to everyone that has supported us so far with this.

You will probably have heard the news that Fat Girls Fighting has been placed on Zane Lowe's playlist at Radio 1. Safe!!  If you haven't contacted him already to request it, DO IT NOW!!! It is being described as "A Touch of Funking Genius" and is tipped to be the biggest single since Crazy by Gnarls Barkley!!!

On that bombshell people.
